That’s it. If you have something really complicated, it might be more. But usually, yeah, 40 bucks an hour.
It gets better.
If you have something that I know will take me more than a couple hours, like creating a blog, or building a custom application, I’ll give you a flat rate quote. That usually means a discount of up to 40% on my hourly rate.
It gets even better than that!
I bill in fractional hours. So you only get billed for the actual time it takes me.
Here’s an example:
- You need to fix a glitch on your web site.
- I figure out it’s an HTML issue and fix it in 15 minutes that same day.
- I only bill you $10 because it only took me 1/4 of an hour. (Note: This happens a lot)
I don’t know anyone else that works this way. It’s simply the best deal around.
